LE NGUYEN BAO ANH
Charitable trips have always been special journeys for me. Every place I go, every person I meet, carries a unique story, but they all share a common pain and a longing for a better life. Amidst difficult regions, I clearly feel the fragility of life. It’s the worried eyes of a mother holding her sick child, or the trembling grip of an elderly person longing for a bit of warmth on cold winter days. But in every moment like that, I see an invisible strength – the power of sharing and love. It is precisely those smiles, though tired but still full of gratitude, from those people that have helped me realize that true happiness is not just about what we have, but what we can give. Every time I see a child’s eyes light up when receiving a warm coat, or hear a simple thank you from an elderly person, my heart feels warmed. Those trips have made me unable to give up, because I know that every small help brings hope to lives that are teetering on the edge of suffering.
